More Than a Race

The SunSky 10K is about more than 6.2 miles across the bay. We’re proud to partner with six organizations making a meaningful impact throughout the Tampa Bay community. Learn more about each of our charity partners and the work they’re doing beyond the finish line.

Participants who register for one of the 500 Charity Runner 10K slots will be contributing to each of these charitable organizations.  Registration fees for these bibs will be donated to these charties at the SunSky 10K event in March. Additionally, Charity Runners will recieve the below perks as a Thank You for their contribution:

  • Charity bib "fast pass" lane at Packet Pickup on Saturday. Skip the lines and get right to the front.
  • Commemorative Charity Race Bib that allows the holder to skip the shuttle loading line and get into any Bus Wave race morning.
  • Additional Charity Runner event shirt.
  • Option to start in the exclusive Charity Runner race wave.  This wave will start immediately after the competitive runner wave.
  • VIP Experience is NOT included in Charity Runner registration fee.

Today. Tomorrow. Together.

The Coast Guard Foundation is committed to ensuring all Coast Guard members and families have the resources they need to build resilience throughout their lives.

The American Association of State Troopers (AAST) is dedicated to supporting state troopers and their families nationwide through camaraderie, member assistance, educational opportunities, and scholarships. Your generosity helps us strengthen the trooper community, support families in times of need, and invest in the future of those who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting others.

The Sun Coast PBA supports law enforcement officers and their families by providing care, resources, and meaningful support during times of need. Through education, community partnerships, morale-building initiatives, and connections with shelter animals, we strive to strengthen the law enforcement community and give back to the communities they serve.

Founded in 1971, the Suncoast Chapter as part of the Third Region of AUSA provides support to active duty, National Guard and Reserve service men and women of the US Army and their families in fifteen counties along the central west coast of Florida.  We actively support ROTC Programs at USF, Florida Southern University and the University of Tampa as well as JROTC Programs throughout or footprint.

The mission of the Tampa Police Benevolent Association is to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and of the State of Florida; to promote social, charitable, and educational activities; to ensure fidelity to duty under all conditions; to instill a spirit of benevolence, goodwill, integrity, and mutual respect among our members and the people we serve.
